Overview, Mail Forwarding Rates and Other Services

How it works: We provide mail forwarding, vehicle registrations and fax services. We do our best to provide our customers with quality mail forwarding service by being responsive to your needs at a very reasonable cost.

We have invested in equipment and software that reduces the time needed to calculate postage and other costs, including a digital scale that is integrated with our computer and a software program that quickly computes the exact postage and any additional USPS services, such as delivery confirmation, express mail, etc. This helps keep our costs down and our rates low. We also use United Parcel Service (UPS) as needed, but there are many remote places where they don't deliver.

A customer shouldn't have to worry about whether they are exceeding the capacity of their mailbox, or if they  receive an item that won't fit in their mailbox and be charged extra dollars for it. Our mailboxes are "one size fits all", regardless of mail volume. This applies to the amount of mail that might reasonably be received at a typical residence or home based business. 

You can select how often you want your mail forwarded. Once a week is the most popular, but you can choose every two weeks or once a month. We'll even hold your mail until you call or email us and tell us where to send it. This is called "on demand" service. If needed, we'll customize a delivery schedule for you at no extra charge. Nothing is cast in concrete and we'll be glad to work with you for a special need. You pay actual postage plus a $1 handling charge for each mail shipment we send to you. We do not mark up postage or add other "nuisance" fees. There are no extra charges for oversize items, signing your name for deliveries or Overnight Express. There is no extra charge for "on demand" mailings. (sent only when you ask for it)

Our Petfinder Service is free. Just put our Toll Free 800# on your pets collar, then alert us your pet is missing, we'll contact you when someone finds your pet and calls us.

Junk Mail Eliminator. If you want, at no charge, we'll toss your junk mail in the trash so you don't have to pay postage to forward things like sale catalogs. Junk mail is just about anything thats not First Class or Presort First Class.

For worry free security, we provide FREE SHREDDING of your unwanted mail, including the labels off magazines and sale catalogs!

Free Fax Receiving & Forwarding. We can receive faxes for you, convert them to email and send them to you over the internet. Or, we can print it out and put it in your next outgoing mail shipment, or overnight mail if it's important. 


Vehicle registrations.  We will be pleased to assist you in the registration of your motorhome, car or trailer in SD. It can be done entirely by mail through Your Best Address. SD registration and title fees are among the lowest in the nation. SD has only a 3% excise tax on purchases of new or used vehicles and no safety inspections or emission tests. Full time RV'ers don't need a SD Driver's License to register vehicles here. Call us and we'll answer questions and tell you what your registration costs would be. Needed forms can be printed out from the "Vehicle Info" page. We charge a nominal fee for this service. South Dakota has no personal income tax, no inheritance tax and no personal property tax.
